The transaction value exceeded $100 million (R1.4 billion). The founder and management team invested alongside Carlyle, driving growth and expansion of new products, solutions and markets ensuring CMC stays current and competitive in a very dynamic industry.
This latest investment compounded what was already the most extensive and largest Pan African network (AFNET) spanning across 50 Countries. In addition, CMC has an extensive Middle Eastern (MENET) and Western Asia (ASNET) network, which is extended via our wholesale partner programme into other regions .The CMC Carrier Interconnect Model enables delivery into the USA, Europe, UAE, India, Asia, Australia and varies African aggregation points.
