Sentech Limited is a leading State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) responsible for broadcasting signal distribution and telecommunications services in South Africa, reporting directly to the Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services.

Sentech Legacy:

Founded as a technical division of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) in 1992.
Corporatized as a wholly owned SABC subsidiary in 1992.
Transformed into a separate public company in 1996 under the Sentech Act, becoming a “common carrier” for broadcasting signal distribution.

They are licensed to provide Electronic Communications Network Services (ECNS) and Electronic Communications Services (ECS), ensuring seamless connectivity throughout the country.
