True Communications

True Communications is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Company. We focus on providing Internet and Telephone connectivity and services primarily by connecting clients to our own Wide Area Network.

Our network covers around 45 000 square kilometers including towns like Ventersdorp, Boskop, Boons, Derby, Koster, Swartruggens, Coligny, Biesiesvlei, Lichtenburg, Mafikeng, Ottoshoop, Lehurutse, Zeerust, Sannieshof, Ottosdal, Wolmaransstad, Delareyville, Migdol, Vryburg, Stella, Ganyesa, Piet Plessis, Tosca, Pomfret, Hartswater, Jan Kempdorp and surrounding areas.

Our administrative base is in Ventersdorp. We do however have three NOCs (Network Operation Centers) placed strategically in Ventersdorp, Lichtenburg and Vryburg respectively, from where we connect our clients to the Internet, and where we terminate our Telephone services.

The three NOC’s each have L2 connectivity to Teraco House in Isando, Johannesburg, where we peer with NAPAfrica and plug into the Internet Backbone.

The NOC’s are also linked to each other internally within our network, as well as externally through Teraco to provide failover redundancy to ensure maximum uptime.
